Etchells USA 745Length (LOA): 30 ft 6 in Original owner Don Basler who currently has USA 1045. Weighed 2 years ago -10 lbs over minimum. Spar is the original Kenyon and has been complemented by Bob Vickery (local sailmaker and ex-Olympic Star guy) as particularly straight and reasonably stiff. All the running rigging and cleats replaced in 1999. Epoxy barrier coat sprayed with VC 17. Sails all made by Bob Vickery at "X Sails" loft in Illinois. Mains- Heavy air main has only been flown 3 times. All purpose main has seen 2 years of racing. (not regatta caliber) 3 other mains all older. Lots of jibs - none regatta caliber. Spinakers - 2 reasonably good runners. 1- reacher that has been out of the bag 4 times. 3 other old kites. The trailer came from Ben Altman (unknown age) New lights last year and the surge brakes need to be rebuilt. This trailer has only made 1 trip in the last 6 years.
